What you will do at Lightelligence:
• Hardware designs for EVB, test and product assemblies. Including chip select, PDN design and assessment, clock tree design, symbol/package library building, SI/PI analysis etc.
• Write test scripts to perform functional test.
• Collaborate with the software and packaging teams to identify opportunities for design improvement and better success rates.
• Work across teams to assure design for manufacturing and regulatory requirements are comprehended and met.
Preferred Qualifications:
• BS or MS in a relevant discipline such as Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years' experience
• Experience with server system design and successfully delivered integrated system/micro-system design.
• Knowledge of high-speed digital circuits, such as PCI-e/DDR3, familiar with common analog circuits.
• Experience with industry-standard EDA tools for PCB/schematic/substrate design, layout, signal /power integrity simulation/analysis. Experience in Cadence tools is preferred.
• Experience with laboratory instruments such as oscilloscopes, network analyzers and signal generators, good manual soldering and rework skills.
• Familiar with NI Labview, LXI/GPIB instruments programming.
• Experience in C/C++ programming is a plus.
• Familiar with FPGA programming/debugging is a plus.
